The WA.CLOTH ESSENTIAL series was specially designed by CINOH designer Takayuki Chino.
The result is a garment that maximizes the potential of paper yarn, while retaining Chino's attention to detail and the texture of the material, and the elegant yet casual, beautiful lines that are her forte.
A collarless jacket made entirely from paper, which requires highly skilled craftsmanship.
The fabric is made from paper thread, which is said to be half the weight of cotton, giving it a light, drapey feel and an effortless impression.
Thanks to the moisture absorption and release properties of the paper yarn, this is a convenient piece of clothing that can be worn comfortably from spring to summer, and even during the lingering heat of autumn.
The piping details and silhouette have been carefully designed to make it easy to match with both smart and casual outfits.
Furthermore, this yarn was used to create a knitted fabric, washed in water, dried in the sun, and then unraveled, giving the yarn itself a unique shape and creating a fullness that had never been achieved before.
Paper thread, which is made with the skilled techniques of Japanese artisans, is highly durable and has many functions, such as moisture absorption and release, a dry feel, and is lightweight.

White and light-colored items may burn, discolor, or yellow if exposed to direct sunlight or lighting for long periods of time, so please be careful when wearing or storing them.
